Mooney M20K Rocket
In December of 2022 in response to a commission call, I received an order for a custom portrait of a 1985 Mooney M20K. A growing fascination with aviation and the inspiration of the great aviation artists spurred along this project.
The client wanted to showcase both the front end of the plane as well as a side view complete with tail number and flight action. After brainstorming ideas, we came up with a movie poster-like concept that would show both views of the plane in a dramatic and eye-catching way.
